We built this because we were tired of the runaround when searching for payment providers. Too many hidden fees, confusing comparisons, and sales calls that go nowhere.
So we created a simple place to compare providers honestly - no gimmicks, no BS.
The Real Story
Payfluence came about because two people kept bumping into the same wall from opposite sides.
One of us spent years running payments for several high-risk businesses. Every time we needed a new provider, it was the same story: slow onboarding, vague answers, and no real way to prove which option was actually the right fit before committing.
The other spent years selling for top-tier payment companies. From that side it was equally frustrating. KYC requirements would surface late, internal onboarding teams would throw up blockers, and deals would stall for reasons nobody had bothered to flag early on.
We met on a project, one of us buying, the other selling, and it didn't take long to realise we were looking at two halves of the same broken process. That conversation is really where Payfluence started.
The idea was simple: give merchants and providers a way to see the full picture and make decisions based on facts rather than guesswork.
